Ronnie Dale Harleston, 69 of Valdosta, GA, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at his residence. He was born on September 6, 1955, in Bakersfield, CA, to the late Edmond Levi and Mary Ellen White Harleston. A veteran of the United States Army, he worked as an Industrial X-Ray Specialist/Inspector with A Plus RTD. Mr. Harleston loved motorcycle riding, especially his yellow street glide Harley. He was a collector of many things, especially knives and enjoyed tinkering with various projects, and enjoyed going to antique stores and yard sales. He loved his children dearly; his family and friends held a special place in his heart. He will be missed by his dogs, Harley, Bubba, Gabby, Shadow and Oda.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Anna Marie Harleston; his sons, Shay Cody Dale Harleston, of Orlando; Paul Henry Edmond Harleston, of Valdosta; mother-in-law Nellie Ramirez, of California; brother-in-law, Fred Henry (Ann) Ramirez, of California; sister, Gale Marie (Rick) Ajootian, of California; brother, Rodney Levi Harleston, of California; brother Edmond Lee Harleston, of California; Desiree Harleston; several aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by the best father-in-law ever Henry Fred Ramirez.
A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, January 2, 2025 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Pastor Robbie Harrington officiating. Prior to the service visitation will be held from 1-2pm. Ronnie will be interred in Jacksonville National Cemetery on Friday.
