Ronnie Allen Myracle, age 74, of Hahira, peacefully passed away at his home on Sunday, September 24, 2023. Born on April 29, 1949, in Dyersburg, TN, he was the son of the late Claude and Vonita Phillips Myracle. Ronnie had a passion for sports and was particularly fond of horse racing, with a special love for the Kentucky Derby. He was well-known in Hahira as the man who could outwalk anyone at any given time. Ronnie was always there to lend a helping hand, just call "Pops."
Mr. Myracle served as a Seabee in the U.S. Navy for four years during the Vietnam War He cherished his 43 years of marital bliss with his beloved wife Patricia (Pat) Myracle. Ronnie was not only a dedicated husband, but also a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend to all. He treasured spending time with his family, and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren held a special place in his heart.
Survived by his devoted wife, Pat Myracle, of Hahira, Ronnie leaves behind his children: Tori (Mike) Hamlin of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; Shea (Clint) Zeigler of Ray City, GA; and Lynn Aldridge of Hahira. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Michael (Brittany) Hamlin of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; Lindsey (Blake) Garrett of Hahira; Kylie Hamlin of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; Devon Sumner of Hahira; Dawson Zeigler of Ray City, GA; and Marley Lewis of Hahira. Furthermore, Ronnie is survived by his adored great-grandchildren, Hudson Garrett and Noah Garrett, both of Hahira, as well as his sisters: Sondra Jones of Charleston, MO; and Donita Myracle of Sikeston, MO. Numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Vonita Myracle, as well as a sister, Claudine Russell.
A funeral service honoring Mr. Myracle's life will take place at 2pm on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at the Martin McLane Funeral Home chapel, with Reverend Brant Lindsey officiating. Following the service, he will be laid to rest with military honors at Friendship Cemetery. Prior to the service, the family will receive friends from 1-2pm.
