Ronnie Adams

Charles Ronald (Ronnie) Adams, 74 of Valdosta, passed away quietly at his home December 14th after a brief illness. He was born in Fitzgerald, GA on March 23rd, 1941 to the late Charles W. Adams and Jane Sims Adams. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, a graduate of Valdosta State College, eventually retiring from the US Post Office in Valdosta. He loved traveling, motorcycling, shooting, gunsmithing and being with friends of which he had many.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of almost fifty years Maerita Elaine (Owen) Adams, his son Charles (Chuck) Ronald Adams II, brothers Thomas (Tom) Sims Adams, Steven (Steve) Conrad Adams and a sister Sarah Susan Harrelson, aunts Louise Sims, Nanny Beth Lawson and Sarah Ley. Additionally, he has many, many cousins and friends from far and wide who he dearly loved and were a very large part of his extended family.

Ronnie was a strong believer in family and the church attending Redland Baptist. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 19th at Redland Baptist Church, with visitation at 10AM, services at 12 PM, followed by burial at Ousley Baptist Church.
