RONALD THOMAS (RON) DARBY, 56, of Hahira died Tuesday, November 8, 2005 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Hahira on May 10, 1949 to the late Grady and Laurene Webb Darby and was lifelong resident of Hahira. Mr. Darby was an active member of the Hahira United Methodist Church, a veteran of the United DStates Air Force and was currently employed with the Ring Corporation. He was a very special man who loved his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Odom Darby of Hahira, his daughter, Beth Darby of Hahira, his son, Tanner Darby of Hahira, two brothers and sisters in law, Don and Debbie Darby of Hahira, Jon and Sherrell Darby of Warm Springs, brother in law and sister in law, Scotty and Ginny Odom of Adel, nephews and nieces, Matt Odom and Drew Odom both of Statesboro, Whitney Odom of Adel, Kirk Darby of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Joshua Darby of Milledgeville, Brack Ricks and Roxanne Ricks both of Nashville.
Funeral services will be held at 11am, Thursday, November 10, 2005 at the Hahira United Methodist Church with the Rev. Lynn Hurley, Rev. Ken Morgan and Mr. Stan Reaves officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family received friends on Wednesday from 6-9pm at the funeral home.
