Ronald Lee Hasty

Ronald Lee Hasty, 60, of Naylor, died Friday, July 28, 2006 at his residence. He was born on February 12, 1946 in Lowndes County to the late J. L. and Bernice Brown Hasty. Mr. Hasty was a retired salesman, a member of the Baptist faith and a member of the Alapaha Hunting Club.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Ann Hasty of Naylor, one son, Ron Hasty of Marietta, two daughters, Shannon Wainright and Leigh Ann Hasty, both of Valdosta, one granddaughter, Lesley Wainright of Valdosta, two brothers and sisters in law, Terry and Ann Hasty of Hahira, J. L. Hasty, Jr. and Claudia of Orange, TX, mother in law and father in law, Margaret and Bobby Brooks of Valdosta, brothers in law and sisters in law, James and Sharon Stephens of Lakeland and Wayne and Andrea Stephens of Budapest, Hungary.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 31, 2006 at two p. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Reverend Wayne Boykin officiating. Burial will follow in McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from four until six p. m. Sunday at the funeral home.
