Ronald Edwin Neumann

April 1, 1939 — July 30, 2015

Ronald Edwin Neumann, 76, of Lake Park died on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Langdale Hospice House following a lengthy illness. He was born on April 1, 1939 in Shelby, Ohio to the late Harold and Doris Carrothers Neumann. Mr. Neumann served in the Air National Guard from 1957-1963 and had retired from Zellwin Farms where he was grounds manager. Mr. Neumann was an active member of Lake Park United Methodist Church where he served as a layleader and was a member and very active with the Emmaus community.

Survivors include his wife, Arlene Clark Neumann of Lake Park; a son and daughter-in-law, Msgt. Alan and Janine Neumann of Long Beach, Mississippi; two daughters and sons-in-law, Ellen and Roger Bloomfield of Bucyrus, Ohio, and Sonya and Jim Gibson of Marion, Ohio; step-daughters and spouses, Pamela Haines of Marion, Ohio, Debra and John Wallingford, Christina and Dave Burris, all of Bucyrus, Ohio, and Penny and Tom Grandy of Ashland, Ohio; 21 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Eugene and Opal Neumann of Council, Idaho and Rev. Don and Sandy Neumann of Bucyrus, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews; a special friend, Tom Youngs of Mt. Dora, Florida.

A memorial service for Ronald Edwin Neumann will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Lake Park United Methodist Church with Rev. Alex Tracy and Rev. Isaac Salgado officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to House of Hero's c/o Lake Park United Methodist Church, Lake Park United Methodist Church building fund, Langdale Hospice, or Pearlman Cancer Center.
