Romie Croft Hart

Romie Croft Hart, 81, of Valdosta died Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on November 19, 1925, in Miami, FL to the late Ira and Josephine Griffin Croft. Mrs. Hart was a member of Faith Chapel in Jasper, FL. She was a dedicated wife, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by two sons and daughters in law, William K. & Linda Giles of Valdosta, R. Larry & Imogene Hart of Marietta; daughter and son in law, Dorothy & Barry Ganas of Jennings, FL; Sons, William Harvey Hart, Jr., James Michael Hart of Valdosta; daughter, Janice Veal of Valdosta; grandchildren, Kenneth Chase & Kelly Conaway, Ft Myers, FL, Daniel Elton Veal, Valdosta, Christopher L. & Rhonda Hart, New Orleans, LA, Kenneth Jeffrey Giles, Pamela Jo & Francisco Hernandez, Will Harvey Hart III, all of Valdosta, Brother & Sister in law, Rev. Colbert & Joyce Croft of Jasper, FL, Sisters, Mary Evelyn Lyles, Mickey Watson, Corene Walters, of Valdosta, Kay Sikes, Lakeland; great grandchild, Joshua Hernandez, Valdosta, sister in law, Mildred Croft of Valdosta, numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Harvey Hart , sisters. Doris Walden, Joyce Horne, brother, Ira Gene Croft.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 29, 2007 at 11 a .m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Colbert Croft, Dr. Clyde Stokes, Rev. Brian Sayre officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
