Robin Lynn Bone, 51, of Hahira, died at her home on Friday, December 18, 2015. Born in College Station, Texas, on July 3, 1964, Robin was formerly of Staples, Texas. She graduated from high school in Rosewood, North Carolina and received her Nursing Degree from ABAC. Robin worked at South Georgia Medical Center as a Charge Nurse, and then as a nurse in the ICU. She was a gifted crafter and talented jewelry maker. A devoted animal lover, her favorites were dogs, cats, rabbits and chickens. Robin was an active member of Park Avenue United Methodist Church where she gave of her time and talents to church missions and the Clothes Closet. She was also a volunteer with LAMP. Robin always had a smile on her face.
Survivors are her mother, Florence Bone of Hahira; her father and step mother, Jim Bone and Theresa Lamie of Valdosta; sisters, Tracy Bone, Stacy Bone and Jamie Bone all of Hahira; Lilly Belle, and her church family at Park Avenue United Methodist Church.
The funeral for Robin will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Park Avenue United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. Reverend Craig Rikard, Reverend Hale Bishop and Reverend Willie Beasley will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in memory of Robin to LAMP 714 Charlton St Valdosta, GA 31601 or to Park Avenue United Methodist Church Missions, 100 East Park Avenue, Valdosta, GA 31602 .
