Robert V. (Bob) Hutchinson, Jr.

Robert V. (Bob) Hutchinson, Jr., 67, of Valdosta died Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at his home. He was born in Valdosta on July 6, 1949 to the late Robert V., Sr. and Ruth Lee Boland Hutchinson. Mr. Hutchinson was a member of the New Harvest United Methodist Church and a retired Industrial Maintenance Instructor with Wiregrass Georgia Technical College. He enjoyed playing his bass guitar.
Survivors include his son, Robert V. Hutchinson, III of Valdosta; one brother, Kenny Hutchinson of Hahira; his brother in law, Pat Kelley of Tallahassee, FL; nieces and nephews, Leah and Christopher Stephenson and Michael Kelley all of Tallahassee, FL, Nancy Jordan Harrell of Clyattville, Mark and Sherri Jordan and David and Brooke Jordan all of Valdosta. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Latrelle Nathey and Wilma Kelley.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2017 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Reverend Sally Flowers officiating.
