Robert Perry Lloyd, Jr.

Robert Perry Lloyd, Jr., 53, of Valdosta passed away Sunday, March 23, 2008. Born on October 23, 1954, in Valdosta, he was the son of the late Robert P., Sr. and Dorothy "Dot" Greene Lloyd. He was a police officer with the Sparks Police Department. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Mr. Lloyd was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Jane Lloyd of Valdosta; daughters and son-in-law, Bill and Christy Lloyd Martin, Brandy Lloyd and a son, Colt Perry Lloyd, all of Valdosta; a sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and Raymond Burch of Warwick; a brother and sister-in-law, David and Nicki Lloyd of Jacksonville, FL; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Terry S. Johnson.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at the First Church of the Nazarene. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
