Robert Milton O'Connor, Jr.

Robert Milton O’Connor, Jr., 75 of Valdosta and formerly of Oxon Hill, Maryland passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2007 at South Georgia Medical Center. Bob was born on August 28, 1931 in Washington, DC to the late Robert Milton, Sr. and Alice Mae Brown O’Connor. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War.

He was the loving father of Jan L. Johnson of Pittsburgh, PA., Dale R. O’Connor, Sr. and his wife, Kellie of Valdosta and Gary B. O’Connor of Barefoot Bay, Fla. He is also survived by 8-grandchildren, one great grandchild, two sisters, Shirley Michael and Kathy Kirkley and one brother, Marti O’Connor and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles O’Connor and Gerald O’Connor.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at 4pm, Sunday, June 10, 2007 at Riverview Memorial Gardens with Mr. Brad Baker officiating.
