Robert Martin Barrales

Robert Martin Barrales, 59, of Valdosta died on Monday, April 9, 2007, at his residence after a brief illness. He is the son of the late Ramon Martin and Bunnie Louise Blanton Barrales. He was a member of the Park Avenue United Methodist Church and attended the First Baptist Church of Lake Park.
Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Paul R. and Evelyn Barrales, Valdosta; sister, Anita Walker of Northville, MI; sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Michael Sorah, Centreville, VA; nieces, Lisa Barrales Parrish, Susan Owens, Jill Hughes, Theresa King, Michelle Sorah; nephews, Michael Paul Barrales, William Michael Walker, Mark Allen Sorah; great nieces, Jasmine King and Lauren Grundy; great nephews, Reece Hughes and Patrick Hughes.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2007, at 4 P.M. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. The Reverend Robert Dawson will officiate. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 until 8 P.M.
