Robert Lee (Bobby) Taylor

Robert Lee (Bobby) Taylor, 57, of Valdosta died Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at home. He was born in Valdosta on September 30, 1954 to Margaret Lanell Wright Taylor and the late Burle Brinson Taylor. Mr. Taylor was a twenty three year proud employee of the Scruggs Company and a Baptist. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his two daughters, Amy Lynn Taylor and Anna Lee Taylor, granddaughter, Peyton Louisa Wright, mother of his daughters, Lynn T. Taylor all of Richmond, VA., his mother, Margaret Lanell Taylor of Valdosta, brother and sister in law, Brinson R. and JoAnn Taylor of Panacea, Fla., nieces and nephews, Stacey and Virgil Moore, Brint Taylor all of Valdosta, Stephanie Taylor of Jacksonville, Fla., great nieces and great nephews, Cole Moore, Kyle Moore, Saralyn Moore, Shelbie Moore and Ansley Taylor, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Burle Brinson Taylor.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Saturday, December 17, 2011 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Tim VanLandingham officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery in Hahira. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:30pm until service time.
