Robert Kuhfeldt

September 2, 1932 — July 24, 2008

Robert Kuhfeldt, 75, of Valdosta died at South Georgia Medical Center on Thursday, July 24, 2008. Born on September 2, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of the late Albert and Vera Kuhfeldt. He was an instructor in the United States Air Force and retired as a Master Sgt. after serving more than 20 years. Mr. Kuhfeldt also taught school for many years and was a Deacon at Lee First Baptist Church in Lee, FL.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Laurel Kuhfeldt of Lee, FL; daughters and sons-in-law, Melynda Darby of Rockledge, FL, Cathy and Don Hayes of Melbourne, FL, Janet Bennett of Rockledge, FL, Lucy and Wayne Montanya, Tracey and Lee Majors, all of Palm Bay, FL; a son and daughter-in-law, Patrick and Lily Kuhfeldt of Idaho. Mr. Kuhfeldt is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Alice and Wendel Johnson; a brother and sister-in-law, Lee and Pat Kuhfeldt. He is preceded in death by his sister, Verla Raulerson.

The family will host a memorial service at 1 P.M. Saturday, July 26, 2008 at Lee First Baptist Church in Lee, FL.
