Robert Howard (Bob) Lee

Robert Howard (Bob) Lee, 66, of Valdosta died Sunday, July 6, 2014 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born in Jacksonville, FL on October 15, 1947 to the late Howard and Fleta Greene Lee. Bob was a retired Law Enforcement Sergeant with the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Department, Charlotte, NC. He served in the United States Army, was a member of Christ's Fellowship Church, a member of DeMolay International, the South Georgia Emmaus Community and St. Michael's Anglican Chapel. Bob loved his wife, family, fishing, cooking, and gardening.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Cooper Lee of Valdosta, a daughter and son in law, Alecia and Dave Robertson of NC, a son, William Coleman Miley of Valdosta, his sisters and brothers, Debbie and Ray Poe, Kathy and James Bonner, all of Valdosta, Chuck and Jennifer Cooper of Leesburg, GA, numerous nephews and one niece and his canine companions, Poncie and Kendall.

A memorial service will be held Friday, July 11, 2014 at eleven a. m. at Christ's Fellowship Church with Pastor Ken Webb and Mr. Rick Shierling officiating. The family will receive friends from ten a. m. until eleven a. m. Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Christ's Fellowship Church, 417 Connell Road, Valdosta, GA 31602 or to the Lowndes County Humane Society, 307 East Jane Street, Valdosta, GA 31601.
