Robert C. Hynote

Robert C. Hynote, 71, of Valdosta, died Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at Brooks County Hospital in Quitman. He was born in Mitchell County on March 29, 1936 to the late Charles and Jewel James Hynote. Mr. Hynote was an auctioneer, served in the United States Army and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Ann Peterson Hynote of Valdosta, one son and daughter in law, Jeff and Michelle Moody of Lawrenceville, three daughters and one son in law, Doniela and Derris Delk, Judy Ann Smith and Deborah Simmons, all of Sale City, eight grandchildren, Brandon Delk and his wife, Amanda, Courtney Delk, Adam Smith, Emily McHan and her husband, Danny, Ivy Simmons, Ana Maria Moody, Emma Nicole Moody and Sarah Moody, one great grandson, Hunter Delk, three sisters and two brothers in law, Marion and Ray Ripko of Valdosta, Bonnie and Lamar Hanna of Sale City, Dot Brown of Valdosta, three brothers and sisters in law, Henry and Marie Hynote of Camilla, Coy and Sandy Hynote of Sale City, Nick and Cindy Hynote of Camilla, several nieces and nephews. Mr. Hynote is preceded in death by one brother, Jack Hynote.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 25, 2007 at 2:30 p. m. at Cool Springs Baptist Church near Sale City, GA. He will lie in state for one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from seven until nine p. m. Friday at the funeral home.
