Richard L. Evans, Jr.

Richard L. Evans, Jr., 54, of Hahira died Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Sarasota, FL on November 10, 1960 to the late Richard L. Evans, Sr. and Dorris Fiveash Evans. Richard was the owner and operator of Evans Landscaping and Lawn Care and served in the United States Marines.

He is survived by his wife, Robin Evans of Valdosta, two daughters, Laila Hall and Lauren Hall of Valdosta, two sisters and brothers in law, Nancy and Ray Parr of Hahira and Melissa and Dick Grob of Las Vegas, NV, two nieces, Allegra Parr of Valdosta and Elizabeth Parr of Sarasota, FL.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 5, 2014 at two p. m. in the chapel of the Martin McLane Funeral Home in Hahira. Speakers will be Donnie Warren, Chris Musgrove, Nancy Parr and Melissa Grob. Burial will follow at Cat Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from one until two p. m. Friday at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Humane Society of Lowndes County, 307 East Jane Street, Valdosta, GA 31601.
