Rhoda Bernstein

Rhoda Bernstein, 88, of Valdosta died Sunday, August 15, 2010 at the Fellowship Home after a short illness. She was born on September 27, 1921 in New Haven, Connecticut to the late Arnold and Dorothy Thall Levine and lived in Valdosta for the past thirty five years. Mrs. Bernstein loved playing bridge with her friends, loved music and attending the Valdosta Symphony.

Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Alan Bernstein and Deborah Davis of Valdosta, two daughters and sons in law, Susan and Glen Maul of Valdosta, Lisa and Steve Dixon of Peachtree City, her sister, Shirley Schneider of San Francisco, Calif., her grandchildren, Jennifer Messer, Josh Maul, Ruth Davis, Sarah Dixon, Deanna Dixon and Brian Dixon. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Joseph Bernstein.
