Reginald Claus Wisenbaker, Sr.

Reginald Claus Wisenbaker, Sr., 81, of Valdosta died Monday, November 16, 2015 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on November 18, 1933 in Lowndes County to the late Inous Smith Wisenbaker and Minnie Clyde Dasher Wisenbaker. Mr. Wisenbaker was a farmer and a lawyer. He served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict from 1952 until 1955. Mr. Wisenbaker was a member of Statenville Church of Christ and a member of the GA Bar Association.
He is survived by his wife, Faye Cook Wisenbaker, daughter, Regina Katherine Wisenbaker, son, Reginald Claus Wisenbaker, Jr. and his fiancé, Brittany Nicole Young, granddaughter, Charlotte Faye Wisenbaker, all of Valdosta, two sisters and brothers in law, Kay Wisenbaker Parker (James) of Rome, Ga and Gail Wisenbaker Hunter (Robert) of Valdosta, three sisters in law and brother in law, Peggy Hamby Wisenbaker and Lavelle Smith Wisenbaker of Valdosta and Jean C. Pierce (W. R.) of Pavo, several nieces and nephews. Mr. Wisenbaker is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Harold Wisenbaker, John D. Wisenbaker and Noel Wisenbaker, sister, Topsy Louise Norvel and brother in law, James Felton Cook.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 19, 2015 at two p. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Mr. Evans McMullen and Reverend Chris Michael officiating. Burial will follow in Dasher Cemetery. The family will receive friends from one until two p. m. Thursday prior to the service.
