Williams, Rebekah Ann Hennly, died Friday morning September 7th, after a long, courageous battle.
Beckie had a special way of connecting with everyone she touched. Many lives have been blessed with the memory of knowing her.
Having a deep love for nature and wildlife photography, some of her favorite moments were spent waiting for the perfect picture. Her yard was her treasure and she spent many hours cultivating and maintaining a beautiful garden, filled with a wide array of breathtaking orchids and other wonderful plants, too numerous to name. And always by her side, as she tended her garden, were her two beloved dogs, Chase and Jasmine, ever ready to play as the three of them strolled through the yard together.
Rebekah is survived by her husband, Edward A. Williams, and three adult children; Matthew and wife, Jackie; Kirkland and wife, Dana, and Christin Amanda. Beckie had four beautiful granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews. She has a sister, Joan M. Hennly of Safety Harbor, Florida and two brothers, James R. Hennly Jr. and Charles Hennly, both of Valdosta.
Beckie’s family and friends will join together Saturday, September 15th, to pray for her new life, pain free and peaceful, with her parents and our Lord. Even though a part of our hearts will be gone, whenever we think of Rebekah each day, her beautiful smile and spirit will always make us smile.
Visitation of family and friends will be from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Carson McLane Funeral Home, 2215 N. Patterson Street in Valdosta. Following the time of visitation, a memorial service will begin, conducted by Rev. A. Jason Shirah and Rev. Tommy Mason.
