Rebecca Higgins Morris

Rebecca Morris, 58, died at her home in Valdosta on Monday, June 19, 2006 of a sudden illness. Born in Sylacauga, Alabama, on June 30, 1947, Rebecca was the daughter of Ruth Smith and the late Albert Higgins. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

Survivors are her husband, William David Morris of Valdosta; sons and daughter in law, Michael David and Sherry Morris of Moultrie, Joshua Dale Morris of Valdosta; a daughter and son in law, April Dawn and Duane Utter of Valdosta; seven grandchildren; and her mother, Ruth Smith Walker of Valdosta.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2006, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Reverend Bob Willis officiating. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens.
