Rebecca (Becky) Delk

Rebecca (Becky) Delk, 44 of Valdosta, died on Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at her residence after a short illness. Born on January 3, 1962 in Valdosta, she was the daughter of the late Elton Melvin and Emma Elizabeth Peace Green. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God of Prophesy.

Survivors are her husband, James Delk of Valdosta; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Machelle Delk of Valdosta; grandchildren, Kirsten and Kameron Delk of Valdosta; brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy and Betty McCowan, Bobby and Melissa Green all of Valdosta and Walt and Beth Green of Hahira; an uncle, Benny Peace of Valdosta; loving cousins, Karen Terry, Sharon Cofield and Debbie Ravipong and numerous other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2006 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Nobles and Pastor Joseph Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
