Raymond Y. Touchton

Raymond Y. Touchton, 68, of Lake Park, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018. Mr. Touchton was a lifelong resident of Lake Park, he was born on January 26, 1950 to the late R. L. Touchton and Gladys Johnston Touchton. He was a retired Occidental Chemical Co. Supervisor. Mr. Touchton was a hard worker who took care of his family. He was a kind, caring, devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
Mr. Touchton is survived by his wife of 50 years, Susan Hancock Touchton, of Lake Park; his daughters and sons in law Gayle and Maxie Williams, of Valdosta, and Gina and Angelo Cox, of Statenville, his four grandchildren, Colt Cox, Cuyler Cox, Amber Cox, and Jeremiah Williams, his sister and brother in law, Iva and George Porter, of Lake Park, two sisters in law Janice Hancock, of Valdosta, and Sue Touchton, of Citra, FL. He was preceded in death by his brother Charles Touchton, and two brothers in law Glenn Hancock, and Jimmy Hancock.
Funeral services for Mr. Touchton will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home with Pastor Edgar Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at McLane Lakewood Funeral Home.
