Raymond D. Robbins, Jr.

Raymond D. Robbins, Jr. (Ret. MSgt. USAF), 64, of Lake Park died Monday, July 28, 2008 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on September 15, 1943 in Bloomington, Illinois to the late Raymond D., Sr. and Dorothy Carr Robbins and had lived in Lowndes County for the past twenty six years. Mr. Robbins enjoyed fishing and camping. He was a Protestant.

Survivors include his wife, Terry Robbins of Lake Park, three children and their spouses, Tina and William Bond, Michael and Kalisa Robbins, Helen and Stephen Shuman all of Valdosta, stepchildren and spouse, Kelly Roby of Indiana, Scott and Michelle DeBaird of Minnesota, 9-grandchildren, 2-great grandchildren, two sisters and a brother in law, Terri Coit and Fran and Wes Sidebottom all of Florida. He was preceded in death by a sister, Norma Crabtree.

Funeral services with full military honors will be held at 5pm, Friday, August 1, 2008 in the McLane Lakewood Chapel in Lake Park. The family will receive friends following the service until 7pm.
