Raymond Blakely (Blake) Stalvey, 48, of Hahira, passed away Friday, October 5, 2018 at his home. He was born on September 29, 1970 in Hahira to Raymond and Diane Stalvey. Blake was a 1988 graduate of Lowndes High School and Valdosta Tech. He enjoyed reading and keeping up with sports. Blake also enjoyed spending time with family and going to the beach. He was a member of Hahira United Methodist Church.
Blake is survived by his wife, Mandy Hewett Stalvey, mother and father, Diane and Raymond Stalvey, and father in law, Brett Leroy Hewett and his wife, Tammy. He is preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Stalvey, maternal grandparents, Eugene and Nellie Vickers Parker, paternal grandparents, Raymond, Sr. and Mary Ellen Folsom Stalvey and mother in law, Jan Rita Lockwood Hewett.
The family will receive friends from six until eight p. m. Sunday, October 7, 2018 at the Martin McLane Funeral Home in Hahira. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 8, 2018 at ten a. m. at the Martin McLane Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery.
