Raymond Andrew Childs, Sr., 55, of Clyattville died Sunday, March 31, 2013 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born September 27, 1957 in Albany, NY to the late Robert and Joyce Pregent Childs. Mr. Childs worked at TM Polyfilm and retired from the Clyattville Volunteer Fire Department as Assistant Chief.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Debbie Childs of Clyattville, sons and daughter in law, Andy and Chandra Childs of Atlanta, Tony Childs of Hahira, Justin Nichols Childs of Clyattville, daughters, Sadie Childs and Brandi Childs of Clyattville, son, Ed Childs of NY and daughter, Patty Childs of NY, sisters and brother in law, Peggy and Rich, Penny, Tina, Rene, Deanna, Melba, Jennifer and Michelle, brothers and sisters in law, Bob, Donny, John and Diane, Joe and Connie, Robert, Michael, Johnny and John, Jr., grandchildren, Brendan, Braxton, Emma, Hunter, Michele, Brenda, Johatin, Nathem, Olyvia, Anjel and Donnie, mother in law, Tena (Mama) Kirkland, sister in law, Tammy Kirkland, several nieces and nephews, Randy, Scotty, Chris, Shelby, Cyndi, Mike, Crystal, Matt, Alena, Crystal, John, Stacey, Chris and Danny. He is preceded in death by his father in law, Charles Kirkland.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 3, 2013 from five until eight p. m. at the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home in Lake Park. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 4, 2013 at eleven a. m. in the chapel of the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home in Lake Park.
