Randall Carlos Griffin, 65, of Morven, died on Monday, May 11, 2009, at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta. Born in Pavo, Thomas County, Georgia, on November 29, 1943, he was the son of the late John L. and Viola Willis Griffin. Mr. Griffin was a heavy equipment mechanic with Ruben Construction Company. He loved to tinker, listen to Country Music and he was an avid fan of the Gators and the Miami Dolphins.

Survivors are his wife, Glenda Schoch Griffin of Morven; son, Clinton L. Griffin of Okeechobee, Florida; stepchildren, David (Randy) Gillespie of West Palm Beach, Florida, Jennifer (Keith) Fejes of Schnecksville, Pennsylvania, Sabrina Steckel of Emmaus, Pennsylvania; two granddaughters, Cassie and Randa Griffin of West Palm Beach, Florida, step grandchildren, Joshua and Joseph Gillespie of West Palm Beach, Florida; sister, Julia Griffin Thompson of Morven, brothers, Arthur Griffin of Morven, Ronald Griffin of Breman, Rex Griffin of Morven; sister, Pamela Nelms of Waverly Hall; former wife, Linda Harper of Okeechobee, Florida and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Randall Carlos Griffin, II, brother, John Griffin, stepson, James Gillespie, wife, Shirley Griffin.
