Ralph Shipp Noles, age 95, of Valdosta, died at his home on Saturday, September 22, 2018. A native of Adel, Georgia, Ralph was born a son of the late Marvin M. and Mattie Lee Mixon Noles on August 13, 1923. He served in the United States Army for four years. A Master Electrician, Ralph enjoyed his life’s work as an electrician. He was employed with the City of Valdosta as an Electrical Inspector and he owned Noles Electric for many years. Ralph was a member of Cat Creek Primitive Baptist Church. A family man, he loved camping, trips to the mountains, and time spent with his family, especially his dearly loved wife of 66 years, Eloise, who passed away in 2013.
Surviving are his children, Eunie D. Hendricks, Jackie D. Carter, Cheryl N. Trogdon, Bobby (Sylvia) Davis all of Valdosta and Pat (Sandra) Davis of Hahira; grandchildren, Eric (Linda) Hendricks of Valdosta, Bret (Lynette) Hendricks of Lake Park, Ralph Chet (Anastasia) Hendricks of Valdosta, Danny (Chrisan) Davis of Orlando, Florida, David (Daviea) Davis of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Beth (Tim) Jackson, Sally Davis, Pat II (Dotti) Davis all of Hahira, Dawn (Gene) Ross of Lake Park, Dee (Kenny) Ott of Hahira, Lauree (Chandler) Griffin of Indian Harbour Beach, Florida, Amber (Lonnie) Powell of Nashville, Jesse Moore, Dustin Ralph Moore, Jamie Moore all of Valdosta; twenty four great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, one great great great grandson.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Cat Creek Primitive Baptist Church. Elder Jim Sandlin and Elder Thad Marshall will officiate. Burial will follow at Cat Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Carson McLane Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Condolences may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com.
