Ralph Larue (Buddy) Smith, Jr.

Ralph Larue (Buddy) Smith, Jr., 58, of Hahira, died Friday, April 25, 2008 at his residence. He was born on May 7, 1949 in Nashville, GA to the late Ralph Larue Smith, Sr. and Bernice Coombs Smith. Mr. Smith was a retired steel worker and a member of Bethany Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita Nichols Smith of Hahira, two sons, Kyle Logan Smith (Kristen) of Hahira, Tim Reiner of Plant City, FL, two step sons, Rex Shoemaker (Keri) of Fort Belvoir, VA, Clint Guest (Misty) of Nashville, two daughters, Pam Griner and April Mew of Plant City, FL, four granddaughters, two step granddaughters, four grandsons, two brothers, Herbert Wayne Smith, Raymond Earl Smith and special friend and brother, Chris Bostick.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 27, 2008 at two p. m. in the chapel of the Martin McLane Funeral Home in Hahira with Pastor Don Smith, Reverend Johnny Smith, Mr. Kyle Smith and Mr. Rex Shoemaker officiating. Cremation will follow. The family will receive friends from six until eight p. m. Saturday at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Hospice of South GA.
