Ralph C. Hall

Ralph C. Hall, 87, of Hahira died Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Langdale Hospice House. He was born on May 3, 1927 in Lowndes County to the late Colonel Joe Hall and Madalyn Fiveash Hall. Mr. Hall was a retired farmer and a member of Bethany Baptist Church. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. Mr. Hall enjoyed woodworking.

He is survived by his wife of sixty seven years, Blanche Elliott Hall of Hahira, two daughters, Lawana Bramlett and her husband, Raymond Bramlett, Betsy Jennings and special family friend, David Coleman of Hahira, his son, Michael Hall of Hahira, seven grandchildren, Jonathan (Laurie) Hancock, Brian Hancock, Kevin (Tina) Jennings, Gregory (Vanessa) Jennings, Eric (Sherry) Croft, Scott Croft and Suzanne Bennett, fourteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, three sisters, Joy Beth Weeks, Dorothy Meeks and Janice Sumner all of Valdosta, two brothers and five sisters in law, Terry and Dot Hall of Hahira, Randy Hall of Morven, Nadine Elliott of Valdosta, Janie Godwin and Wilma Bell of Morven and Billie Jean Jarvis of Norman Park and brother in law, Buck Elliott of Maclenny, FL, numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Hall is preceded in death by his parents, daughter in law, Gail Hall, son in law, Jim Jennings, brothers in law, Paul Sumner, Norman Meeks, Walt Wright and Bill Weeks, sister in law, Lounette Owens and brother in law, J. C. Elliott.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at two p. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Reverend John Akers officiating. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends from one until two p. m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Langdale Hospice House, P. O. Box 1727, Valdosta, GA 31603.
