Phyllis Warren Cargile

Phyllis Warren Cargile passed away at her home on January 30, 2024, at the age of 59.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Lee and Junior Warren of Valdosta; sister Peggy Lee Warren; mother and father-in-law, Theta and Buddy Cargile; sister-in-law Barbara Creasy. She is survived by her husband, Hugh Cargile; son Buck (Lindsay) Cargile; grandson Cub Cargile; sisters Patricia (Clint) Rowland, Pattie (Benny) Thomas, Pam (Danny) Foster, brother-in-law Jerry (Beth) Cargile; childhood best friend Robin (Doug) Bearrentine and many special nieces and nephews.

She resided in Clyattville for most of her life where she worked as a hairstylist to many clients she considered family. She was a beloved wife, mother, Nama, sister and friend and will be missed beyond measure.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Friday, February 2, 2024 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Pastor Jason Burns will officiate. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5-7pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Waylon Thomas, Daniel Foster, Clint Rowland, Wayne Thomas, Doug Bearrentine, and John Bush. Honorary Pallbearers are Jimmy Letourneau and David Kirkland. Online condolences may be shared at www.mclanecares.com.
