PHYLLIS KAY LADROW FLETCHER, 59, of Valdosta died Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at her home after a brief illness. She was born on February 8, 1948 in Valdosta to the late Joseph G. and Mildred Allen Ladrow and was a lifelong resident of this area. Mrs. Fletcher was an active member and worker of the First Baptist Church Lake Park. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Bruce Fletcher of Valdosta, son and daughter in law, Michael Bruce and Wendy Fletcher of Lake Park, daughter and son in law, Eva Michelle and Jason Viar of Lake Park, five grandchildren, Lana Kay Fletcher, Leah Grace Fletcher, Michael Bruce Fletcher, Jr., Colten Morgan Viar and Cameron Michael Viar, two sisters and brothers in law, Harriette and Jeff Coppage of Lake Park, Susan and Joe Prine of Dublin, her brother, Joseph A. Ladrow of Lyons, a niece and her husband, Sena Kutzli Pike and David Pike of Lakeland and numerous other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Eva Ladrow Kutzli.
Funeral services will be held at 11am, Friday, July 6, 2007 at the First Baptist Church Lake Park with the Rev. Robert Dawson officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-9pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Lake Park Building Fund or to Hospice of South Georgia.
