Phillip Gregory Jones

Phillip Gregory Jones 50, of Hahira passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, May 16, 2021 in Valdosta, Georgia. He was a devoted husband and father of three. He coached all three of his daughters in soccer, adored his two grandsons and would move mountains to help anyone.
He was employed by Dr. Joseph Thomas for many years and was dearly loved by all of the patients that knew him. Even those that did not know what he did for a living knew what kind of man he was.
Phillip was a member of Northside Baptist Church. He was the Sunday School department director for several years and worked with many of the children’s programs.
He was a 1989 graduate of Central High School in Thomasville, Georgia where he played baseball and football. He will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife, Tracy Greene Jones of Hahira; three daughters and a son in law, Alison and Brett Thomas of Valdosta, Darby Jones of New York, NY, Perri Jones of Hahira; two grandsons, Stellan Thomas and Shepard Thomas of Valdosta; his parents, Greg and Nina Jones of Thomasville; a brother and sister in law, Perry and Anna Jones of Tallahassee, FL; his grandmother, Blanche Jones of Thomasville; his father in law, Wallace Greene of Valdosta; two nieces, Lily Jones and Gracen Jones both of Tallahassee, FL. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Pascal Jones, Rev. Auther and Joyce Knight and his mother in law, Wanda Greene.
A visitation for Phillip will be held on Friday, May 21, 2021 from 6-8pm at Park Place by McLane, 108 W. Park Avenue, Valdosta, GA 31602.
