Phillip Allen Shaw

Phillip Allen Shaw, 72, of Valdosta passed away on April 2, 2016 at his residence following a brief illness. He was born in Villagrove, IL on January 7, 1944 to the late Charlie and Pauline Shaw. Phil was the co-owner of Ashley Glass Co. of Valdosta and had been in the glass business for 42 years. Phil loved his dogs and in his spare time he enjoyed FSU and Alabama football.

Phil is survived by his partner of 31 years, Odie Wilson of Valdosta; his best friend of 26 years, Kelly Jones of Valdosta; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Bill and Shirley Shaw, Don Shaw, all of Griffin, GA; his sister, Sally Davis of Orcola, IL; several nieces and nephews and a large extended family. In addition to his parents, Phil was preceded in death by his partner Robert Davis and several brothers and sisters.

A private burial will be held for Phillip Allen Shaw at Oak Hill Cemetery in Quitman, GA. There will be no formal visitation.
