Philip Carl Hosman, 73, of Valdosta passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at South Georgia Regional Medical Center. He was born on September 16, 1944 in Findlay, Ohio to the late Paul Clayton Hosman and Marjorie Rose Brown. Mr. Hosman served as a custodian and also attended the Azalea City Church of God. He was a jokester and never met a stranger. He loved interacting with people and always had a smile on his face. He was the center of attention once he entered any room. There was never a dull moment if he was around, even during his illness.
Survivors include his three daughters, Melinda (Johnny) Hutto of Valdosta, Sandy Turner of Adel, Deb (Greg) Matthews of Findlay, Ohio; son, Kenny (Dani) Phoenix of Cary, Ohio; fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren; and sister, Mettie Kennedy of Upper Sandusky, Ohio. He was preceded in death by one great grandchild; his brother, Howard Hosman; and wife, Alice Sue Hosman.
