Perry Ward Chandler, Jr., 17, of Valdosta, died on Thursday, May 13, 2010. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 17, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Perimeter Road Baptist Church. Perry Ward Chandler, Jr., 17, of Valdosta, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2010 in an automobile accident. He was born on November 2, 1992 in Augusta, GA and is survived by his parents, Perry and Wendy Chandler, his brothers, Justin Chandler, age 14, Brandon Chandler, age 12, Blaine Chandler, age 11, and his sister, Brooke Chandler, age 2, all of Valdosta. His grandparents are Linda and Chuck Rutherford of Jacksonboro, SC, Dick and C. J. Stroupe of Valdosta and Troyce Chandler of Augusta. Perry was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Barbara Jean Chandler. He was a Junior at Lowndes High School and was an active member of the Youth Group at Perimeter Road Baptist Church.

Perry loved fishing, hunting and hanging out with his friends. He was joined in heaven by his best friend Justin Neely that same night. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 16, 2010 from 3 p. m. until 6 p. m. at the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 17, 2010 at 10 a. m. at Perimeter Road Baptist Church.
