Paul H. Davis

Paul H. Davis (Retired SMSGT, USAF.), 74, of Valdosta died at his home after a lengthy illness on Sunday, September 9, 2007. He was born in Jacksonville, FL on May 5, 1933 to the late Elmer and Lillie Mae Carver Davis. Mr. Davis had been a resident of Valdosta since 1988. He was also a member of Open Bible Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Inge Davis of Valdosta; daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and Tim Byrd of Jacksonville, FL; sons and daughters-in-law, Paul Davis, Jr. of Orlando, FL, Don Davis of Augusta, Doug Davis of Jacksonville, FL, Richard Davis, David and Anna Davis, Jason and Ansley Davis all of Valdosta; daughters Laura Davis and Carolyn Davis both of Valdosta; four grandchildren. Mr. Davis is also survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Richard McCallman of Miami, FL, Sue and Ernie Beverly of Jacksonville, FL; an aunt, Ellene Paulk of Ambrose and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Jeffry Davis.

Funeral services for Mr. Paul Davis will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2007 at Open Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Carroll Joye officiating.
