Patsy Carter Rogers, 71, of Lake Park, died on Monday, November 16, 2020, at her home. Born in Douglas, Coffee County, Georgia, on December 22, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Paul Edward Carter Sr. and Eva Mae Williams Carter. A member of Jennings Church of God, Mrs. Rogers was a homemaker who enjoyed shopping, crocheting and sewing. She loved time spent with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Lendy Rogers of Lake Park; her children, Teresa Crowder of Jasper, James A. Williams, Jr. and Judy of Atlanta, Tammy P. Griffis and Dewey of Old Town, Florida, Bridgett Patterson and Jeff of Lake Park, Samuel D. Rogers and Jessica of Quitman; fifteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren; brothers, Paul Edward Carter and Jeanie of Albany, Charlie Carter and MaryLou of Lake Park; sister in law, Brenda Carter. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Randall Carter.
Graveside services will be held at Carter Cemetery on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at eleven a.m. Ms. Cynthia Mosley and Brother Andy Shultz will officiate. McLane Lakewood Funeral Home is serving the family of Mrs. Rogers. www.mclanecares.com.
