Patricia Thompson Faircloth, 78, of Hahira, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017 following a lengthy illness. She was born in Fornfelt, MO, on April 24, 1939 to the late Merrell Medford Thompson and Delaphine Johnson Thompson. Patricia grew up in Missouri and moved to Memphis, TN with her family in high school where she played fast pitch softball and later bowled. She moved to Valdosta in the mid 1970’s to be near family. She worked at SAFT and Dowling Bag Co. for several years. Around 1980 she went to work at Crackin Good and managed the lunchroom there for several years before retiring in 2001. She was a voracious reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles. Patricia had a great sense of humor and wit. She was a member of Morningside Baptist Church.
Patricia is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Debby and Steve Parker, her son Don Faircloth, her grandchildren, Cole and Gabi Parker, Jacob Parker, Dalton Faircloth, Koryn and Jake Bearrentine, her two great grandchildren, Kaylee Bearrentine, Laura Leigh Bearrantine, her seven brothers and three sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandson Austin Parker and a sister.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 2p.m. at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens with Dr. Wayne Robertson officiating.
