Patricia M. Gilliland

Patricia M. Gilliland, 90, passed away on June 1, 2018 following a lengthy illness. She was born on March 23, 1928 in Atlanta, GA to the late Barron L. Merrell, Sr. and Irene Pergantis Merrell. Patricia was a licensed professional counselor at ABAC and ran her own catering company for 30 years. She was a director of three duplicate Bridge Clubs, and the Holly Garden Club, and several professional organizations. Patricia was an Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority Alumni. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Patricia is survived by her son William Ray Gilliland, Jr., of Phoenix, AZ, and her daughter Stephanie Gilliland (Brian) Stallings, of Acworth, GA, six grandchildren Jeromy Gamble, April Simpson, Jenny Gilliland, Missy Gilliland, Mark Daniel Gilliland, Olivia Gilliland, eight great grandchildren, and a brother, Barron L. Merrell, II. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Ray Gilliland, Sr., her son Mark Merrell Gilliland, a grandson William Dane Gilliland, her parents, and sister June M. Alliston.
