Patricia King Owen

Patricia (Pat) King Owen, 62, of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and formerly of Valdosta went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 16, 2012. She was born in Thomasville, Georgia on February 10, 1950 to Lavan Selph King and the late Nelson T. King. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sevierville, Tennessee and was employed at Dollywood. Pat was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, Pete Owen of Pigeon Forge, Tenn., son and daughter in law, David and Peggy Copeland of Bristol, VA., daughter and son in law, Sherry and Joey Parker, stepsons and stepdaughter in law, Brandon Owen of Idaho, Clint and Teri Owen of South East Asia, stepdaughter, Brenda Owen of Denver, CO., grandchildren, Hunter Parker, Tyler Parker, Trevor Parker, Blake Owen, Hailey Owen and Mali Owen, her mother, Lavan S. King of Valdosta, her brother and sister in law, Stephen and Kathy King of Hiawassee, GA., two nephews and niece in law, Michael King of Bristol, VA. and Jeremy and Nicole King of Atlanta, great nephew, Noah King of Atlanta, two aunts, Nellie Selph and Bertha King both of Valdosta. She was preceded in death by her father, Nelson T. King.

Funeral services will be held at 3pm, Sunday, May 20, 2012 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home, 2215 N. Patterson St., Valdosta, GA 31602 with the Rev. Bob Willis officiating.
