Patricia Jocelyn

Patricia “Trish” Jocelyn, 81, of Valdosta, died on Sunday, December 24, 2023, at South Georgia Medical Center following a short illness. She was born in Glendale, CA on October 31, 1942, to the late Perry Buffum and Mary Gallagher Buffum. She was a homemaker who lived an interesting life on her own terms. She loved to be outdoors, listening to the birds and sitting around the firepit. Her favorite place was at the beach. She enjoyed collecting rocks and making crafts, she was very proud of the fact that she trained all of her cats to play fetch.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Wendi and Bryan Baird of Valdosta; two sisters, Barbara Buffum and Ginny Horsely; close friends, Kelly Davis and Margie and Edward Chatelain. She was preceded by her husband, George Jocelyn and her youngest daughter, Virginia Smutko.
