Patricia Diane Hopkins

Patricia Diane Hopkins, 62, of Valdosta met our Savior on Thursday, March 3, 2016 in Jacksonville, Florida after a lengthy illness. She is the daughter of the Late Andrew Jackson Barnard and Eula Mae Hendley Foster. Patricia lived her life in the service of God and her family. She was the owner of Patricia's Daycare and Learning Center in Valdosta and touched the lives of so many families throughout her 25 year career. She was known for her warm soul and selfless heart and will be dearly missed by her loved ones.
Patricia is survived by her daughter and son in law, Brittany and Levi McCracken; her sons, Andrew Hutto, Cooper Hutto all of Valdosta; two brothers and sisters in law, Roger and Darlene Barnard of Donalsonville and Russell and Glenda Barnard of Valdosta as well as many very loved nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents as well as one sister, Sandra "Gail" Jones of Valdosta; three brothers, Gary Barnard of Valdosta, Danny Barnard of Bainbridge and Ronnie Barnard of Valdosta.
The family of Patricia will be receiving guests from 5-8pm on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at her home at 2597 Loch Laurel Road, Valdosta, GA 31601. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with a private burial to be held at Webb-Hendley Cemetery.
