Patricia Ann Cowart Pittman

Patricia Ann Cowart Pittman, 70, of Valdosta died Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Langdale Hospice House. She was born in Sandersville, Georgia on September 20, 1942 to the late Orvis James and Cora Belle Wilcher Cowart and had lived in Lowndes County for many years. Mrs. Pittman was a member of the Northside Baptist Church where she enjoyed teaching the Lydia Sunday School Class. Her greatest joy was her love for God and witnessing to her family and friends. Mrs. Pittman enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and her family and was a devoted daughter to her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Pittman of Valdosta, her son, Tim Pittman of Hahira, her daughter and son in law, Sandee and Tony Simmons of Valdosta, five granddaughters, Alyssa Pittman, Kellie Pittman, Brooke Simmons, Ashlee Simmons and Trista Simmons, two great grandchildren, Zarek and Layla, her aunt, Ouilda Baskin of Valdosta.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Sunday, July 7, 2013 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Willis officiating. Burial will follow in the McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens.
