Patricia Ann Connell

Patricia Ann Connell, 83, of Valdosta passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022 at her residence. She was born on April 2, 1939 in Adel, GA to the late Buren Enoch Connell and Gladys May Moore Connell. Patricia was an Accounts Payable Manager for CSX and a member of Adel First Baptist Church. She was a member of the GA Senior Women’s Golf Association. Patricia enjoyed playing cards, gardening and loved the Atlanta Braves and GA Bulldogs.
She is survived by her sons, Darrel Lynn Sturch of Middleburg, FL, Anthony Todd Sturch (Terry) of Green Cove Springs, FL, daughter, Lisa Joy Buck (Wolfgang Joseph) of Orange Park, FL, grandchildren, Kavie Mischaelle Stahl (Christian) and Zachary Buren Sturch (Melissa Tompkins), great granddaughter, Dagney Marie Stahl, sister, Frances Maddox of Adel and several nieces, nephews, other family and loving friends. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Josie Nell Wheelis and Louise Grimes and brother, Samuel B. Connell.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 4, 2022 at two p. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Reverend Ken Smith, Mr. Johnny Lee and Mr. A. D. Connell officiating. Entombment will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from five until seven p. m. Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Hospice of South GA or to the American Cancer Society.
