Pat Studstill

Pat Studstill, 87, of Valdosta, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born in Ray City, GA, on March 30, 1935 to the late Leon Bradford and Eudora Knight Bradford. Mrs. Studstill went to Ray City Schools and graduated from Ray City High School, where she had played basketball. She met Tom Studstill during high school and they dated and were later married on February 14 1953. Mrs. Studstill followed him during his U.S. Air Force career and returned to this area in 1972. She was a homemaker, caring for her husband, children, grandchildren, and especially her great grandchildren. She enjoyed camping in the mountains in Tennessee.

Mrs. Studstill is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Tommy Smith, of Valdosta; son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Glenda Studstill, of Lake Park; grandchildren, Nicholas (Heather) Smith, of Hahira, Christopher (Naureen) Smith, of Valdosta, Kellie (fiancé John Allen) Tinley, of Augusta, Stacie Studstill, of Augusta, and Camryn Studstill (fiancé Landon Tucker) of Cecil; her great grandchildren, Caroline Smith, Lawson Smith, Brantley Smith, Mackey Smith, MacKenzie Tinley, Wyatt Tinley; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Tom Studstill, Jr.

A funeral service for Mrs. Studstill will be held at 3pm on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Hauser officiating.
