Parkash Singh Toor, 79, of Valdosta, died on Monday, November 15, 2021, at South Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness. He was born on February 20, 1942, in Ichhra, Pakistan to the late Sukhdev Singh Toor and Kartar Kaur Bhatti Toor. Mr. Toor was a retired self-employed business man and entrepreneur and was of the Sikh religion. He greatly enjoyed being outdoors and being one with nature. In years past, he was a hunting enthusiast and has always enjoyed watching cricket and the Los Angeles Lakers. Mr. Toor was also well known for being well dressed wherever he went and always presented himself with great style and elegance.
Mr. Toor is survived by his wife of 56 years, Manjit Kaur Toor; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jasdev Singh Toor and Lisa Toor, and Jasdeep Singh Toor all of Valdosta; his daughter, Simran Kaur Toor of California; a sister and brother-in-law, Sukhvinder Kaur Gill and Dr. Jasbir Singh Gill of Valdosta, and other extended family members.
Services for Parkash Singh Toor will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2021, in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Bhai Sahib Ji Gurinderpal Singh officiating.
