Pamela Sears, 58, of Valdosta passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at South Georgia Medical Center after a short illness. Born on April 15, 1948 in Memphis, TN, she was the daughter of Nina Moore and the late Robert Moore. Pam lived in the area for the past 25 years and worked 11 years for the Stoker Group. She was known to all as a generous, loving, person and was a dedicated daughter, mother, sister, and grandmother. Her two great passions were her grandson, Cameron and the Lowndes Vikings. All who knew her will deeply miss her.
Survivors are daughters and son-in-law, Lorrie Sears of Valdosta, Melissa and Cary Bennett of Valdosta; Megan Luke of Yokosuka Japan; grandson, Cameron Bennett of Valdosta; her mother, Nina Moore of Valdosta; sisters and brother-in-law, Jeannie and Gary Kauchak of Virginia, Barbara Christisn of Valdosta; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Connie Moore of Alabama; nieces, Molly Christian and Emily Christian of Valdosta, Rachel Moore and Caroline Moore of Alabama; nephews, Caleb Kauchak of Virginia and Micah Christian of Valdosta.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Friday, March 2, 2007 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Valdosta/Lowndes Co., P.O.
