Pamela Jo Provenzano, 61, of Valdosta, passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2013.
She was born March 18, 1951 in Albany, a daughter of the late Daniel Lee (Danny) and Ruby Jo Bryan Ovaert. Pam loved her children and grandchildren, and lived for the moments she would have with them. She was currently attending college and working to become a Paralegal. She was free-spirited, had a great sense of humor, enjoyed writing and had a passion for music.
She is survived by two daughters, Michele Bell and husband Russ of Athens, and Georgiana Provenzano of Ft. Gordon; one son, Shayne Frei of Dixie; four grandchildren, Caroline, Miles and Amelia Bell, and Mia Provenzano Cox; two brothers, Lee Ovaert and wife Debra of Valdosta, and Danny Ovaert, Jr. and wife Linda of Texas; one niece and three nephews, Andrea Strom and husband Gordon of Plymouth, OH, Brandon, Eric and Patrick Ovaert of Valdosta.
The funeral service for Pam will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at the Chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home, with Mr. David Nelson officiating. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Albany. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
