Obituary for Family to Proof for Saturday’s Paper
Pamela Grace Clayton, 46 of Valdosta, died on Tuesday, July 12, 2005 at her residence after a lengthy illness. Born on September 26, 1958 in Napa Valley, CA, she was the daughter of the late Ernie Adams and Wanda Lucille Martin. Mrs. Clayton was of the Baptist faith. Pamela was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She worked for Gene’s Drive In for almost 20 years in Redding, California.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Clayton of Valdosta; daughters, Nichole Clayton of Valdosta, Autumn Million of Belgrade, MT, Ruby Mucks of Anderson, CA, Kyndra Clayton of Napa Valley; brother, John Martin of Lake Mary, FL; sisters, Evelyn and Sunni of Northern California; brothers-in-law, John Clayton of Valdosta, James Clayton, of Sasebo Japan; sister in law, Joni Gardner of Anna, TX; 6 grandchildren and special friends, Lucinda Martin and Lisa Simmons. The family would like to give special thanks to Hospice of South Georgia for their caring services, in particular to Gaylon Graham, Essie and Libby Odem.
